Himalayas are in Asia. It is the home of the worlds tallest peaks like Mount Everest and K2.
Mount Everest is 8,848m tall, Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay were the first people to climb the mountain in 1953.
Himalayas has 30 mountains higher than 7,300m including Mount Everest and K2
