How my instrument produces sound

Our instrument creates sound by strumming at the string causing a vibration, forming sound waves towards your ears, longer the string higher the pitch. The bongo stuck onto to the instrument, creates sound by slapping hard on the top, with your palm, making it vibrate, creating sound waves. The name of my instrument is called doublegotar.
